Rating System
As you can see I rate the software, e-books and other material that I review in gold. Not silver no diamonds just gold. 18 Carat, 20 carat or 22 carat. A three point scale, just like the Guide Michelin for restaurants. There is another similarity between our rating system and the famous Michelin booklet. We don’t rate what isn’t worth rating.
So, if you find a review on this site you can count on it that it is a good product. It’ll have at least an 18 Carat Gold rating. A 20 carat rating is for very good products and 22 carat is reserved for the most excellent products or deals.
Yes deals. Because part of the equation is the price of the product. So a very inexpensive product with good quality content can get a 22 Carat Gold rating. Whereas an excellent product that is overpriced may only get an 18 Carat Gold rating or even no rating at all.
Products that hold promise we call Ore and great finds we call Nuggets. And that’s about it.
Now what qualifies me to rate any Internet marketing product at all you may wonder. Well, I’ve been there, done that and bought the T-shirt as they say. It is my personal journey to online success that gives me the background to judge whether a product is any good or not. I have bought truckloads of material over the years. Some good, others not so good, too expensive or plain rubbish.
So my experience allows me to tell whether an aspiring internet marketer will make a good investment or not. The stuff I rate should be easy to understand, not too overwhelming and have a good step by step (paint by the numbers) approach with good illustrations and preferably video instruction.
I also take into account the promises that are made. And that is a difficult part of the equation. The thing is that when you do everything right and have some talent you can earn a great deal of money online. But like everything else in this life it usually does not come overnight. It takes a lot of hard repetitive work to succeed.
There are way too many statements about making six or seven figure incomes or not having to know anything about making a website etc. In my opinion that is a load of rubbish. You should be glad if you can even make a couple of hundred bucks a week when starting out. And as an Internet marketer you do have to have some knowledge about html, psp and mysql. These are tools of the trade. You can’t be a carpenter and not be able to handle a hammer.
Outsourcing stuff to other people is a good idea but it costs money. And finding good suppliers that can deliver good work for little or no money isn’t something you can easily do. Especially if you don’t have a lot of money to invest in the first place.
So the first thing any aspiring Internet marketer should do is buy (or find a freebee) that teaches you the basics about webhosting, setting up a website or blog and some HTML so you at least know how to paste a piece of code into your website. That is the level of knowledge that I expect readers of this blog to have.
And if you are a newbie, you are in luck because OnlineMarketersgold is giving free memberships away to “Learning to Earn Online”. A jam packed, online, internet marketing learning center where you can learn these basics. Sign up while it’s still free.
And yes, most links on this blog are affiliate links. I have to make living too, don’t I? It makes no difference to what you pay for the product. And I don’t review stuff because the affiliate pay-out is good. I review it because I think it’s good to excellent, full stop.
To Your Succes!
